The path to citizenship has many requirements, no matter the route taken, and it is no different with Grenadian citizenship via Citizenship by Investment programme.
Before we discuss Grenada citizenship requirements and the documentation you’ll need to have prepared, let’s go over the Citizenship by Investment programme itself.
Citizenship by Investment in Grenada
Several different nations offer Citizenship by Investment programmes, each setting its own requirements and costs to gain citizenship in the respective country. For Grenada, there are two avenues to secure Grenadian citizenship:
- The real estate option: making an investment in a government-approved real estate development
- One-time donation: contributing a significant donation to a government fund that is used for state-sponsored projects.
Whether you pursue citizenship via a real estate investment or donation to the Grenada fund, you’ll receive citizenship in Grenada and a Grenadian passport, which is highly coveted due to the unique benefits. The Citizenship by Investment programme, or economic citizenship, is a much faster route than traditional routes to becoming a citizen and has several fewer hurdles to contend with. The program isn’t a broad road to citizenship, there are specific steps an applicant must take and checks they must pass in order to qualify. It’s tempting to consider these programs as having only financial requirements for the investor, but there are requirements and documents needed to successfully gain Grenada citizenship.

To gain Grenada citizenship, an investor must fulfill several requirements in order to successfully complete the process:
- The main applicant must be 18 years old or older.

- The main applicant and dependents do not suffer from contagious diseases and/or serious health problems.
